LockedIn AI review: promo pricing, no refunds once you start, and a remote helper
Mock Interview Pro team
We make Mock Interview Pro, a competing product. Our free test did not get as far as practicing an answer in LockedIn AI, so this review also relies on its public pages, pricing, policies and user reviews, and says where we could not check something. How we test
LockedIn AI suits technical candidates who want live help in coding rounds, assessments and calls, but its refund policy rules out refunds once a subscription starts. It is an interview assistant from Cyber Gravity LLC that supplies real-time answers and code, runs scored AI mock interviews and can add a remote human helper through LockedIn Duo. Trustpilot marks its rating "unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines". Unlimited General costs $54.99 a month with code LOCKIN50 ($109.98 standard), as of September 18, 2026. We reached its mock setup but practiced no answer, so this review covers setup, pricing, terms and published claims.

Is LockedIn AI legit?
LockedIn AI is a working product sold by a named business, Cyber Gravity LLC (doing business as LockedIn AI), with published terms, a refund policy and an ethics page, but several of its trust signals do not line up. Tracxn lists the company as founded in 2024 in New York and unfunded.
The first mismatch is on Trustpilot. As of September 18, 2026, LockedIn AI's profile states: "This company's rating is unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines," and adds, "We've removed a number of fake reviews for this company" (Trustpilot). Trustpilot does not say which guideline was breached or who posted the removed reviews. LockedIn AI's home page still shows "4.8" from "2,739 reviews" beside "Rated on Trustpilot".
The second is its own user count: "trusted by 1M+ professionals" on the home page and "Trusted by 58,000+ professionals" on the pricing page. The third is a "Money-back guarantee" line on the pricing page that its refund policy does not back (details in the refund section). None of this says whether the copilot works, and we would not use any of these marketing figures to judge it.
What does LockedIn AI do during and before an interview?
During a live interview on Zoom, Teams, Google Meet or HireVue, LockedIn AI's desktop or web app "listens to your interview, analyzes questions, and provides real-time answers, code solutions, and live coaching automatically". Around that sit a coding interview copilot, an online assessment helper that LockedIn AI says "Works across HireVue, CodeSignal, HackerRank, and more", a phone interview copilot, and AI mock interviews that end in a "performance report with competency scores". LockedIn Duo brings a remote human helper into your session. Free tools include a resume builder, cover letter generator and job tracker. It runs on the web, Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, in 50+ languages.
How much does LockedIn AI cost?
LockedIn AI costs $54.99 a month for Unlimited General with the LOCKIN50 code ($109.98 standard), $69.99 a month for Credits and $999.50 once for Lifetime Pro, as of September 18, 2026. Every price on the pricing page appeared with the code applied and the standard price struck through:
- Unlimited General: $54.99 a month ($109.98), or $39.99 a month billed every 3 months, which works out to $119.97 per charge. Unlimited interview sessions and mock interviews, up to 2 hours per interview.
- Unlimited Professional: $119.99 a month ($239.98), or $79.99 a month billed every 3 months ($239.97 per charge). Adds LockedIn Duo and Stealth Mode.
- Credits: $69.99 a month ($139.98) for 400 copilot minutes or 800 mock interview minutes, or $49.99 a month billed every 3 months ($149.97 per charge). Duo and Stealth Mode included, and credits never expire.
- Lifetime Pro: $999.50 once ($1,999).
The discount comes from a home page banner reading "LIMITED TIME CODE LOCKIN50 Lock in 50% off forever", whose countdown showed 02:39:23 when we arrived. LockedIn AI's FAQ also says subscriptions bought inside the iOS or Android app cost more than on the web because of store commissions, so the app price can be higher than the figures above. The pricing page shows no Free card.
For one interview this month, the cheapest paid route is a single Unlimited General month at $54.99. Credits cost more per month but do not expire, which suits someone with interviews spread over a longer search.
Can you get a refund from LockedIn AI?
LockedIn AI offers no refund once a subscription has started, according to its refund policy updated September 17, 2026, even though its pricing page shows a "Money-back guarantee" line. The policy reads: "no refunds are offered once a subscription has started." Monthly and quarterly plans are "Non-refundable once started", and annual plans are "Eligible for a partial refund if canceled within 7 days of purchase", although no annual plan appeared on the pricing page we saw.
Billing errors (a duplicate purchase, non-delivery, a charge after cancellation) must be reported within 7 days, and App Store purchases go through Apple. We did not find which purchase the money-back line covers. The policy changed the day before our check, so read the current version before paying, and in the meantime assume the first payment is final.
How far did we get inside LockedIn AI?
Our automated test browser stalled at a Cloudflare human check during LockedIn AI's sign-up on September 18, 2026, but in a regular Chrome window the sign-up worked and we reached the Mock setup. Its mock interview needs a microphone, so we practiced no answer.
The home page's "Start For Free" button sits above the line "Free to start · No credit card required", and no card was requested. It led to a sign-in page offering Google or email; we chose Sign up and entered a name, email and password. The form was then replaced by a Cloudflare "Verify you are human" checkbox. We clicked it once, the widget went blank, the page did not move after another 12 seconds, and no verification email arrived.
That browser was automated and headless, and the same kind of Cloudflare check on our own site's free practice box failed in it that evening, so we retried LockedIn AI in a regular desktop Chrome window on September 19, 2026. No Cloudflare checkbox appeared this time, and the 6 digit code arrived within seconds. Onboarding asked for a microphone first; we skipped it. The free account's sidebar showed "Copilot 10m" and "Mock · 2× further 20m", and the Mock tab took a company, a position, an objective and a priority question of our own. Clicking START returned "Please select your microphone to start the session.", and we found no way to type an answer, so we stopped there. The whole path from home page to a ready Mock setup took about 2 minutes, with no card requested.
Which LockedIn AI features stayed out of reach?
Everything after the START button did, so what follows is LockedIn AI's own description. The mock interview page promises "dynamic follow-ups that feel authentic" and "clear scores and next steps so every AI mock interview session moves you forward", and says the mobile app offers "Six AI interviewers, from friendly to hard". Its free tier there is "One question, one answer, one scored report."
We could not check question quality, whether follow-ups respond to what you said, how long scoring takes, how fast the copilot answers on a live call, or how Stealth Mode and Duo behave.
What do LockedIn AI's remaining Trustpilot reviews report?
The 120 reviews still on LockedIn AI's Trustpilot profile, 77 of them from the last 12 months, split between praise for speed and complaints about billing; 66 percent are five-star and 22 percent one-star.
- Praise centers on fast responses and usefulness in coding rounds (July 2026), and one reviewer credits a support agent with fixing a billing problem.
- Billing is the most frequent complaint: unexpected renewals, cancellation that is hard to find, and refund denials.
- Reliability comes up too, with a reviewer writing that the tool "stops working and receiving answers from LLM halfway through" an interview.
- Some reviewers in June 2026 describe account lockouts.
The company replies to most reviews. Trustpilot says it removed fake reviews from this profile, so the reviews above are the ones it kept.
What do Stealth Mode and LockedIn Duo mean under an employer's interview rules?
Using LockedIn AI's Stealth Mode or LockedIn Duo breaks the rules wherever an employer bans outside help, and Duo goes further than an AI prompt because a second person helps you during the interview. LockedIn AI says Stealth Mode "Runs invisibly across taskbars, process monitors, and window switchers, so nothing shows up while you share your screen." For Duo, its FAQ says "your helper joins your private LockedIn Duo session, not the interview's video call. The interviewer sees only you and your normal screen share." Its marketing line for Duo is "Never interview alone."
Some employers name exactly this. Goldman Sachs told students it "prohibits the use of any external sources, including ChatGPT or Google search engine, during the interview process" (Fortune), and a human helper is an external source. On detection, HackerRank says its session replay "captures a screenshot of the candidate using an external tool" (HackerRank), which matters because LockedIn AI advertises help on HackerRank assessments. That is a detection vendor's claim, just as invisibility is LockedIn AI's.
LockedIn AI's own ethics page says it has "sophisticated algorithms capable of detecting and preventing the unethical use of our technology" without saying what they do. Many candidates use copilots where nothing forbids it, and the rules differ by employer; our AI interview copilots roundup collects the published ones.
Is LockedIn AI worth it for your next interview?
LockedIn AI is worth a look for technical candidates who interview often and want in-interview help across coding rounds, assessments and live calls. It covers live calls, coding rounds, assessments, mock interviews and a remote helper in one account, on desktop and on both mobile platforms.
It is a weaker buy for a single upcoming interview. The cheapest paid month is $54.99 on promo, the refund policy treats that payment as final, billing is the most frequent complaint in the reviews Trustpilot kept, and the free start is too small to judge the product before paying.
With an interview in one to three days, the free start shows you the interface and, by LockedIn AI's description, one scored mock answer, not much more. If you plan to pay, check the recruiter's rules first and treat the $54.99 as spent. If you would rather rehearse your answers out loud, a practice tool with a refund window carries less risk.
What are LockedIn AI's closest alternatives?
Cheaper copilots exist, and so do tools that replace the copilot with practice. Prices are as of September 18, 2026.
- Verve AI: a live copilot with a Free plan of 3 copilot sessions of 15 minutes and 5 mock interviews, no card needed, and Standard at $44.99 month to month or $16.99 a month billed yearly. It includes Stealth Mode on every plan and refunds only unused plans or technical failures. See our Verve AI review.
- Final Round AI: a desktop copilot with a voice mock interview mode. Its month to month price is $150 against LockedIn AI's $54.99 promo month, while its yearly plan is $25 a month (about $300 up front). Our Final Round AI review covers it, and these Final Round AI alternatives include practice-first options.
- Mock Interview Pro: our own product, which gives no help during the interview. The $39 1-Month Pass gives 30 days and 3 voice mock interviews built from your job posting, each answer scored with a fix and a rewrite (the paywall calls this Basic AI feedback), paid once with a 14 day refund and no renewal. You can start free with the free interview plan, which lists your target company's interview rounds and a practice plan, or with typed practice answers and AI feedback on our interview question pages.
All the live copilots we cover are compared in the best AI interview copilots, and how we test describes our script and its limits.
LockedIn AI: what works and what falls short
What works
- Covers live interviews, coding rounds and online assessments on HireVue, CodeSignal and HackerRank in one tool
- Mock interviews run on any device with a performance report of competency scores
- Free to start with no credit card
- Credits never expire, and a one-time lifetime plan exists
What falls short
- No refunds once a subscription starts, despite a money-back badge on the pricing page
- Trustpilot marks its rating "unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines" and says it removed a number of fake reviews, while the home page still shows a 4.8 Trustpilot score
- Standard prices are double the promo prices, and billing is the most frequent complaint in Trustpilot reviews
- Using it or a remote helper during a real interview can break employer rules such as Amazon's, and detection vendors say their proctoring flags external tools
- Reviewers report the tool stopping mid-interview and account lockouts
What we saw in our test

Questions people ask
Is the LOCKIN50 code a limited-time offer?
LockedIn AI presents it as one. The home page banner read "LIMITED TIME CODE LOCKIN50 Lock in 50% off forever" with a countdown showing 02:39:23 when we visited on September 18, 2026, and every price on the pricing page appeared at half of a struck-through standard price. When we came back a few hours later, the same countdown showed about 23:48:30, so it had reset.
Which LockedIn AI plans include Stealth Mode and LockedIn Duo?
Stealth Mode and LockedIn Duo come with Unlimited Professional ($119.99 a month on promo), Credits ($69.99 a month on promo) and Lifetime Pro ($999.50 once), as of September 18, 2026. Unlimited General, the cheapest paid plan at $54.99 a month, includes unlimited sessions and mock interviews but neither feature.
Does LockedIn AI have a free plan?
It has a free start with no credit card, but no Free card on the pricing page. Our free account's sidebar showed 10 copilot minutes, counted as 20 minutes when used for mock interviews, and the mock interview page describes the free tier as "One question, one answer, one scored report." That is enough to see the interface, not to prepare for an interview.
How do I cancel LockedIn AI without being charged again?
Cancel before the renewal date: LockedIn AI's refund policy says "Cancellations must be made before your renewal date to avoid charges." Its pricing FAQ says access continues to the end of the current billing period, with no cancellation fees. Purchases made in the App Store are handled by Apple.
How we tested
On September 18, 2026 we tried to open a free LockedIn AI account by email, following the script we run on every product, in an automated, headless Chrome (no visible window) with a fake microphone. After the sign-up form, a Cloudflare "Verify you are human" check appeared; one click left the widget blank, the page never advanced and no verification email arrived. The same kind of check on our own site failed in that browser the same evening, so the block most likely came from our setup. On September 19, 2026 we retried in a regular desktop Chrome window, the same second chance our own site got, without Google login and without granting a microphone. The check passed invisibly, and we reached the free app and filled in the Mock setup, but START asked for a microphone and we found no text answer option, so we practiced no answer. The copilot and Duo went untested. Pricing, the refund policy, the ethics page and the stealth and Duo wording were read from LockedIn AI's public pages on September 18, 2026.
On September 18, 2026 our automated, headless test browser stalled at LockedIn AI sign-up: a Cloudflare "Verify you are human" check went blank and no verification email arrived, and our own site's check failed in the same browser. On September 19, 2026 we retried in a regular desktop Chrome window, the same second chance our own site got, with an email address, no Google login and no microphone or camera granted. The check passed invisibly, the email code arrived within seconds, and about 2 minutes after landing we had a free account (sidebar: "Copilot 10m", "Mock · 2× further 20m") and a filled Mock setup, with no card requested. START returned "Please select your microphone to start the session." and we found no text answer option, so we practiced no answer and could not test questions, follow-ups, feedback or the scored report. We did not test the copilot or LockedIn Duo, or open checkout. The LOCKIN50 countdown showed 02:39:23 on our first visit and about 23:48 on the retry a few hours later, so it resets. From public pages we recorded the pricing tabs, a "Money-back guarantee" line next to a refund policy that rules out refunds once a subscription starts, the Stealth Mode and Duo wording, and the Mock Interview page's free tier line: "One question, one answer, one scored report."
