Beyz AI review: a free mock interviewer that follows up but never grades
Mock Interview Pro team
We make Mock Interview Pro, a competing product. We used Beyz AI ourselves for this review, dated every price, and linked our sources so you can check them. How we test
Of the two copilots whose mock interviews ran for us, Beyz AI was the only one that asked follow-up questions, but it never graded an answer. Beyz AI is a desktop overlay and web app from Beyz Inc. in Waterloo, Ontario that suggests answers, code and cheat sheets during live interviews, and it suits candidates who will prepay 3 or 6 months for unlimited live help. Plans run from $24.99 a month billed every 6 months to $49.99 month to month, as of September 18, 2026, and none are refundable.
Choose Beyz AI if
- You want a live copilot with coding help and cheat sheets, for interviews where no rule forbids one, and will prepay 3 or 6 months for the lower rate
- You want a free voice conversation with an AI interviewer that asks follow-up questions, and do not need a score
- You interview in Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean or another of its 10+ languages
Choose Mock Interview Pro if
- You want every spoken answer scored with a fix and a rewrite before an interview days away, paid once ($39) with a 14-day refund
Free: your company's interview rounds and a practice plan, before any payment.

Is Beyz AI legit?
Beyz AI is a legitimate product from a small company, Beyz Inc., and its free mock interview ran in our test on September 18, 2026. LinkedIn places Beyz in Waterloo, Ontario, with 2 to 10 employees, and it launched on Product Hunt on January 29, 2024. Its terms name Beyz Inc. and say they are governed by the laws of "the United States and Canada". We found no named founders and no disclosed funding.
What is harder to verify is Beyz AI's reputation. The home page calls it "Voted #1 Invisible AI Interview Assistant" and shows "Rated by 29,100+ users" beside a row of stars, without naming the vote or the rating platform. It also claims "230K+ users worldwide" and "5X higher interview success" with no method given. There was no Trustpilot profile for beyz.ai on September 18, 2026, its G2 page would not load for us, and most written reviews we found come from competing copilot vendors.
What does Beyz AI actually do?
Beyz AI (beyz.ai) is a desktop overlay from Beyz Inc. of Waterloo, Ontario that listens to live interviews and meetings and shows real-time answer suggestions, coding solutions and cheat sheets, with a solo practice mode and AI mock interviews bundled in. The coding assistant solves a problem with one shortcut and explains its logic and time and space complexity. Interview Cheat Sheets hold role-specific talking points, and there is a phone interview assistant, a Meeting Assistant with a teleprompter and summaries, and a Screen Solver. It supports 10+ languages with real-time translation. The desktop app needs macOS 14 or Windows 11 22H2 or later, and a web app runs at app.beyz.ai.
How did Beyz AI's mock interview go in our test?
Beyz AI's web Mock Interview held a real back-and-forth conversation in our test, but it never evaluated an answer. It ran in the browser with nothing to install.
Setup and speed
After choosing the resume profile we had uploaded, it took two clicks and about 4 seconds for the interviewer, a photo avatar with a voice, to greet us: "Hi! Welcome to this mock interview to help you practice. Whenever you're ready, let me know and we'll begin." The setup screen also offered an optional cheat sheet and a language menu. A countdown under the start button showed the free allowance.
Follow-up questions
Beyz AI's interviewer asked a new question after every answer, and each one built on what we had said or on our resume. After our answer about pushing back on a sales request, it asked: "Since you mentioned working closely with engineering and design on the roadmap, could you share a specific example of how you prioritized features when resources were limited?" When our audio went silent it prompted, "Are you still with me?" Replies arrived within about 20 seconds of the answer ending. Parakeet AI, the other copilot whose mock ran for us, asked us no follow-up at all.
One caveat on our side: our test audio loops a single recorded answer, so it started talking before the interviewer asked its first question, and the scripted "Tell me about yourself" was never asked.
Feedback on the answer
The only response to our answers was praise. Our answer was deliberately vague, with no numbers and unclear ownership, and Beyz AI's interviewer replied, "That is a great example of how effective communication can turn a challenging situation into a positive outcome." It did not name a weak sentence, score the answer or offer a rewrite. When we ended the call at about 2.5 minutes, the page went back to its start state with the transcript still visible and "17 min of free trial left", and nothing appeared in the next 30 seconds; the screenshots below show both moments. We could not check whether a longer session produces a report, and we found no history or feedback page linked in the dashboard.
We also opened the copilot's own practice mode, which showed a "Time limit: 600 seconds" banner, but in our automated browser it stayed on "Initializing..." and we did not see its answer suggestions.
What does Beyz AI cost, and are refunds possible?
Beyz AI costs $24.99 a month billed every 6 months (about $150), $32.99 a month billed quarterly (about $99) or $49.99 month to month, as of September 18, 2026, and every plan is non-refundable. The in-app dialog calls the monthly plan Standard ("Perfect for short-term access"), the six-month plan Titan and the quarterly plan God:
- Standard or Monthly Plan, $49.99 a month: 5 AI assistants, resume-only uploads, meeting and phone assistant, and no coding assistant.
- God Plan, $32.99 a month billed quarterly: unlimited assistants, the coding assistant and extra files up to 5MB each.
- Titan Plan, $24.99 a month billed every 6 months: the same with files up to 25MB each.
All three include unlimited Mock Interview and "90s Prep" and say "Cancel at any time!" Canceling stops the next charge but returns nothing: Beyz AI's terms say "All subscriptions to our Services, including renewals, are non-refundable," with no exceptions listed.
For one interview, the cheapest single payment is a $49.99 month, which leaves out coding help. Anyone who needs the coding assistant pays about $99 or $150 up front, with no way back if the tool disappoints.
Is Beyz AI really invisible on Zoom and screen share?
We could not verify it. Beyz AI says its desktop app "stays completely invisible to Zoom, Meet, Teams, and every screen recorder", but we did not install the app, and HackerRank, a coding-assessment platform, says that in its own test another invisible tool, InterviewCoder, was "clearly visible" on macOS. Beyz AI leads with the claim: its home page headline is "Voted #1 Invisible AI Interview Assistant", followed by "Ace your interview with Real-Time AI Suggestions, Leetcode Assistant and Cheat Sheets, All Invisible," and it describes the desktop app as "Invisible to screen sharing." Both sides are vendor claims.
Some employers ban AI help in interviews: Amazon's recruiter guidelines, reported by Business Insider (via IT Pro), say candidates who use AI tools can be disqualified. Some candidates use copilots where nothing forbids them, and detection is argued on both sides; our AI interview copilots roundup gathers the published policies and claims.
What do Beyz AI users say?
Third-party Beyz AI reviews are scarce, so treat every summary, including this one, as thin evidence. The reviews that exist are mostly written by competing copilot vendors. LinkJob AI, one of them, calls its transcription and responses "super quick", describes answers as vague on complex questions and too simple for senior roles, and finds the missing coding assistant on the priciest monthly plan confusing.
The home page's "29,100+" ratings do not name a platform, and Product Hunt shows 7 upvotes from its 2024 launch.
Is Beyz AI worth paying for?
Beyz AI is worth paying for if you want a live copilot with coding help and will prepay 3 or 6 months; at $24.99 a month on the Titan Plan it is among the lower monthly rates for unlimited assistance. Its free mock interview is also useful on its own terms as a chance to speak answers out loud to a voice that responds to what you said.
It is not worth paying for as a coach. In our test nothing judged our answers, and generic praise after a vague answer can leave you more confident than you should be. Every payment is final, the monthly plan skips coding help, and there is little third-party user feedback to reassure a first-time buyer.
Can Beyz AI's free mock warm you up for an interview tomorrow?
Yes, as a speaking warm-up, as long as you judge the answers yourself. If you interview in one to three days, run the free mock tonight, answer out loud and note where you stall, since the mock does not score answers. Then decide separately whether you want a copilot for the real call, after reading the recruiter's instructions. If you want each answer graded, pair the warm-up with a tool that critiques what you said.
Which tools should you compare with Beyz AI?
Compare Beyz AI with other copilots on refund terms and with practice tools on feedback. Prices are as of September 18, 2026.
- Parakeet AI: a copilot paid per call, with credits from $38 (0.5 credit per 30-minute call) and a 7-day refund for unused purchases. Its free mock drafted answers for us but asked no follow-up. See our Parakeet AI review.
- LockedIn AI: a copilot whose mock interviews it says end in a scored report, at $54.99 a month with its promo code, with no refund once a plan starts. See our LockedIn AI review.
- Sensei AI (Sensei Copilot): a browser copilot at $24 a month billed annually or $89 month to month, with no refunds; our automated test browser could not get past its sign-in. See our Sensei AI review.
- Mock Interview Pro: the practice tool we make; it gives no help in the live call. Where Beyz AI's mock praised a vague answer, Mock Interview Pro scores each answer and rewrites it, though in our own test its scores also ran generous on vague answers, so the fix and the rewrite are the useful part. The $39 pass runs 30 days with three voice interviews, has a 14-day refund and does not renew; web only, no coding environment. Free, it offers an interview plan listing your company's rounds and typed practice on our question pages.
How we test describes the script behind these findings and its limits.
Beyz AI: what works and what falls short
What works
- Prepaying 6 months brings the price to $24.99 a month with unlimited assistants
- Mock interviews and quick prep are unlimited on every paid plan
- Supports 10+ languages with real-time translation
- Free trial and desktop download with no credit card
What falls short
- Every subscription and renewal is non-refundable
- The $49.99 Monthly Plan excludes the coding assistant, so coding help needs a 3 or 6 month prepayment
- Using it during a real interview can break employer rules such as Amazon's, and detection vendors such as HackerRank say their proctoring flags external tools
- Reviewers describe answers as generic on complex questions and too simple for senior roles
- Few customer reviews exist outside competitor blogs
What we saw in our test

Questions people ask
Is Beyz AI free?
Partly: no card is needed, and in our test the app offered a 15-minute trial assistant and a separate mock interview allowance. Beyz AI's official site does not state a trial length, only "No credit card needed. Start right away." Inside the app on September 18, 2026, the Mock Interview page read "30 min of free trial left" on our first visit. It had dropped to 20 minutes by our second session, for reasons we could not see. Paid plans start at $24.99 a month billed every 6 months.
Why does Beyz AI's most expensive monthly rate leave out coding help?
Beyz AI's pricing marks the Coding Assistant "Not Supported" on the $49.99 month-to-month plan and includes it only on the quarterly God Plan ($32.99 a month) and the six-month Titan Plan ($24.99 a month), as of September 18, 2026. The monthly plan also caps you at 5 AI assistants and resume-only uploads. Coding help therefore requires paying about $99 or $150 up front.
What are Beyz AI cheat sheets?
Beyz AI's Interview Cheat Sheets are role-specific talking points that it describes as "ready to glance at during live interviews". In our test the Mock Interview setup also had an optional cheat sheet field next to the resume profile, so the same notes can be attached to a practice session.
Does Beyz AI record your camera during practice?
Beyz AI says it does not. Its copilot practice screen asks you to turn on your camera "to observe yourself during the practice" and states "We do not record or store any facial data or video." The Mock Interview we ran showed an interviewer photo and a live transcript.
How we tested
On September 18, 2026 we used a free Beyz AI account, with no card requested, in an automated browser (headless desktop Chrome) with a fake microphone and camera and the resume of the fictional Senior Product Manager candidate from our shared script. A first pass reached the copilot's practice mode, which stayed on "Initializing...", and the Mock Interview setup. A second pass ran the web Mock Interview for about 2.5 minutes, played our prepared answer through the fake microphone and recorded every interviewer reply. Our looping audio talked over the opening, so the scripted first question was never asked. We did not install the desktop app, test its invisibility or open checkout. Pricing, terms and stealth wording come from Beyz AI's public and in-app pages the same day.
On September 18, 2026 we used a free Beyz AI account (no card requested) in headless desktop Chrome with a fake microphone and camera and a resume for a Senior Product Manager persona. The web Mock Interview ran in the browser with no install: two clicks after choosing the resume profile, an AI interviewer with a photo avatar and voice greeted us within about 4 seconds. Our spoken answer was transcribed accurately, and after each answer the interviewer replied within about 20 seconds with praise and a new question tied to our answer or resume, including a re-prompt during silence. It never scored, critiqued or rewrote an answer, and nothing appeared after we ended the call at about 2.5 minutes. Our looping audio talked over the opening, so the scripted first question was never asked. We could not test the copilot's answer suggestions (the practice mode stayed on "Initializing..."), the invisible desktop app (no installs), whether a longer session produces a report, signup timing, or checkout. The free mock allowance showed 30 minutes, then 20, then 17.
